About me

Based on Sydney's Northern Beaches and often working down in Southern Tasmania, I split my time between chasing swells with a camera and helping businesses tell their stories through professional video content.

I started my journey in 2012 as a young boy, making NRL-based videos on my YouTube channel. This gained the traction of the NRL as well as the Manly Sea Eagles, for whom I edited social media content + presentation videos. I then moved into surf-related content, shooting and editing videos for keen, up-and-coming surfers to rewatch and learn from their style and imperfections. This ultimately led me into my passion for directing and videography.

I operate two distinct channels of work: Mystic Lens for my commercial and client projects, and Think Mystic for my personal creative work. Each has its own look and narrative.

Mystic Lens works with record labels, businesses, surf athletes, various brands, and more. I film, direct, and edit every project personally to keep the vision sharp and consistent from start to finish. Most of the time I run things solo, but for bigger productions I bring in a small, trusted network of Northern Beaches specialists.

Think Mystic is the name of my creative brand; at its core, Think Mystic rejects clean digital perfection in favor of more raw, high-contrast imagery. Meaning and messages through symbolic imagery, combined with clean action shots of surf cinematography.
